Extruded lupin
Use:
Feed component
Product description
It is obtained by extraction of lupin seeds. The yellow species, which is characterised by the highest protein content in the seeds, is grown most frequently for feed. Lupin belongs to a small group of feed plants, which are characterised by low soil requirements and can be successfully grown on such soil. It is a very valuable feed component - its seeds contain on average from 32 to 40% of crude protein (270 to 380 g of digestible protein per kg) and from 4 to 10% of fat.
